About Us

MSN is a web-based service that allows users to view and interact with other users in real time. The service was launched as the Microsoft Network in August 1994, and later renamed Microsoft Messenger. It was created to compete with online chat rooms like AIM and ICQ, which were popular at the time.

MSN offers several features beyond social networking: Email, instant messaging, photo and video sharing, blogging, calendars and more.
